10 Must Have Items For Your Next Beach Vacation

The countdown has begun and you are ready to pack for your beach destination.

While resorts provide some things for you to use at the beach, there are some items you should consider taking with you on your next trip to give that added relaxing boost to your beach vacation.

I hope you love the products I recommend to help you on your next flight.  Products on this page are from Amazon and as an Amazon Associate, I earn commission from qualifying purchases.  Clicking on the links from this page will take you to Amazon to make your purchase.

Water-proof & Sand-proof Mesh Beach Bag

This 9-pocket mesh beach bag with zipper closure contains 7 outside pockets, a main pocket with zipper closure, and 1 waterproof pocket for your phone or anything else you don't want wet.

When traveling to the beach, we all know that a beach bag is a must-have.  But have you ever had all of your stuff be riddled with sand and try to get not only the sand off of your items but out of the bag?  It's not fun.  What about when you put your swim cover-up in your bag and it gets wet?  Trying to put a wet cover-up on can be annoying as well.  That is why I recommend this water and sand-proof mesh beach bag.  It holds all the contents you need for the day and has a waterproof pouch for all of your "do not get wet" items and being mesh, the sand just falls right out!

8 Piece Beach Towel Clips

Comes with a flamingo, parrot, watermelon, and surfboard.  Fun, decorative, and easy to use to keep your towels secure and in place on your chair.

Once we find our spot on the beach for the day, the first thing we do is put our towels down on our chairs to sit on and have handy for a quick dry-off.  These clips are handy, easy to use and keep your towel from being blown off the chair. To help you stay in that tropical mindset, these fun, decorative clips are my pick.

SAFE SEA Jellyfish Sting-Blocking, Water-proof, Reef-Safe, & Sea-Lice Sting Protection Sunblock

Make a splash in the ocean using this SPF 50+ sunblock.  Your reef-safe sunscreen helps guard against jellyfish sting, sea lice, swimmers itch, and UV radiation.  Enjoy your beach day!

Make sure you take enough sunscreen on your vacation to last the duration of your trip.  Buying it at resorts is extremely expensive.  It's not only important to have a high SPF in the Caribbean, but having the right kind of sunscreen is also important.  This SAFE SEA sunscreen is not only sun-blocking, but reef-safe, and Jellyfish sting-blocking and is what I use when traveling to the Caribbean.

Foldable Full Face Snorkel Mask For Adults & Youth

Breathe from your mouth or nose with this full-face snorkel mask with foldable with a stop-water pad for when underwater so no water seeps in.  Has a 180 full-face anti-fog design, and camera mount, and is foldable.

One of my favorite activities to do in the Caribbean is snorkeling.  Years ago I enjoyed it, but was a bit stressful for me fighting with the breathing tube and resist the urge to breathe through my nose until I found these full face masks.  These masks are so easy to use and I love that you can breathe through your mouth or nose and with the stop-water pad, don't have to worry about breathing in water.  These are a must-have in my opinion if you like to snorkel.

2-Pack Inflatable Floats

With a soft buoyancy pillow and mesh center, these floats are great to use as a hammock, chairs, drifters, or saddle.  Easy transport and storage.

I have been to the Caribbean many times and have never taken any floats.  This last summer we stayed at a resort that provided them, and found that I loved them!  In searching for some that I could travel with and pack with no issues, I came across these inflatable mesh floats that are compact for packing in a suitcase and very lightweight and easy to carry down to the beach.  I will never go to another resort without taking one of these.

6

3-Pack Hidden Pocket Hair Scrunchies with Zipper Pocket Storage

Created with an invisible zipper to hold cash or small items. This high-quality elastic band comes in tan, navy, and black and will keep your hair in a perfect bun, ponytail, or any other hairstyle.

One thing that has been an issue for me when at the beach is trying to find a hiding spot for my cash. Now I would never recommend taking all of your cash down to the beach but you do need some for tipping wait service, etc.  These handy hair scrunchies are great for hiding some cash whether you keep it in your beach bag or your hair.  The zipper is hidden and no one would ever guess you had cash in a hair tie!

2 Pack Universal Waterproof Phone Case

Waterproof phone holder up to 7 inches capacity and comes with a detachable lanyard.

I purchased these waterproof phone cases before going to Jamaica this summer.  I don't typically take my phone in the water but have a hard time keeping sand out of my phone.  These worked great for keeping the sand out of my phone and course, kept my phone completely dry when I did take it in the water to take some selfies. My opinion is that they work great at the beach even if you don't take your phone in the water and recommend them every time you travel to a beach

30 oz. Insulated Cup with Lid and Straw for Hot & Cold Drinks

Comes with 1 spill-proof slider lid and 2 reusable straws.  Can keep beverages hot for 3 hours and cold for 9 hours.

My favorite vacations are at all-inclusive resorts.  I love that everything is included, even drinks.  My issue has always been that the drink cups they give you at resorts are tiny plastic cups and the ice melts in a couple of minutes, you get just a few gulps down before your drink is gone. These insulated cups are 30 oz. and are great to take with you.  The bartenders are happy to make your favorite drink in these for you,  it will last you a long while, and are great for taking in the water.  Who's ready for a Mojito?

9

GoPro HERO10 Waterproof Camera with 50 Piece Accessory Kit.

This LCD and touch rear screen allow for live streaming, a 64GB card, a 50-piece accessory kit, and 2 extra batteries.

One of the best purchases I have ever made was this GoPro with accessories.  I have gotten some really good videos of the sea life while on vacation and some good still pictures as well.  The accessories are great to have for good hands-free filming.  I highly recommend having one of these to record your unforgettable vacation.

4 Pack 78x36 Sand-Free Quick-Dry Swim Towel

This value pack of 4 beach towels is made of microfiber for quick absorption and dries fast.  Because of the tiny fibers, they are sand resistant.  Compact when folded it takes up much less room and is perfect for your luggage and beach bag.

If you're an all-inclusive resort person like myself, you will know most resort towels are small and tend to accumulate sand, which in turn, gets you all covered in sand as well.  These quick-drying and sand-free beach towels pack very well in a suitcase and are great for your beach chairs.

Going to the beach is not only fun but also relaxing.  These items that I have recommended from Amazon are great to have with you the next time you travel to your next beach destination!
